Jan Schwieterman, 'Good Burger' Actor, Dead at 52 After Cancer

[bold-italic]Jan Schwieterman[/bold-italic], best known for his role as Kurt Bozwell in the 1997 Nickelodeon movie *Good Burger*, died on February 28, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, at the age of 52.

Schwieterman was diagnosed with an [italic]aggressive form of stage 4 cancer[/italic] shortly before his death, according to his brother Chad. Before his acting career, Schwieterman was an Eagle Scout and moved to Hollywood after high school. He also starred in other television series, including *McKenna*, *Undressed*, and *Felicity*.

Besides his acting career, Schwieterman was also an artist of photography and painting. He is survived by his mother, Clara Reed, his father, LeeRoy Schwietman, and his sisters, Megan and Vanessa.
