Sauce Walka Shot in Memphis; Associate Sayso P Killed

Houston rapper Sauce Walka was shot in Memphis on Saturday, March 22, 2025. He is expected to survive. A second individual, identified as Sayso P, an artist affiliated with Sauce Walka's Sauce Factory label, died at the scene.

The shooting occurred in downtown Memphis, near the Westin Hotel. Memphis police stated the shooting was a targeted attack and not random violence. No arrests have been made, and the motive remains under investigation.

Sauce Walka, whose real name is Albert Walker, has been involved in prior incidents of violence. Sayso P was described as an emerging artist within the Sauce Factory. The investigation is ongoing.
